The Biturox^® Plant in Spain

CEPSA, the leading Oil Company in Spain, awarded Pörner with process design and delivery of the key components for a new Biturox^® Bitumen Plant in their refinery in La Rabida, near to the city of Huelva, Spain. After a design phase of 15 months and an erection period of 12 months, Pörner completed the commisisoning in the record time of 6 weeks in August, 2011.

Successful start-up in Morocco

In October 2009 Pörner Ingenieurgesellschaft was awarded by the Moroccan oil company SAMIR with the design and construction of a Biturox^® Bitumen Plant.

The project was completed for a fixed price and handed over on schedule in July 2011 with the performance test successfully done.
